Bettina came to fashion through art making. While pursuing her MFA at the School of Visual Arts, she began integrating fabric remnants from her sculptural projects into clothing she owned (sculptures are pictured under artworks). Those seminal garments inspired her to continue creating fashion much in the same way she pursued fine art, as a way of exploring form, texture, color and context.
