The Mountain, 473 Gin Ling Way, Los Angeles, CA 90012. October 28th, 2004

Bettina asked thirty-two friends from the Chinatown art community to donate an item of their clothing. Bettina transformed this  item and returned it in exchange for a portrait of the owner wearing the new piece. Everything from t-shirts and dresses to a pair of tights were reworked with careful attention to the owner’s personality and style.  
 
In a one-night event the portraits were displayed in The Mountain Bar, while participants casually modeled their new/old clothes.
