She launched her own label, HUBBY in 2002 when she debuted her collection at Dianepruess Gallery in Chinatown, Her second collection, also in 2002, premiered at Weathervane in Santa Monica, and Naked in West Hollywood.

Her most recent venture in the fall of 2007 was a collaboration with photographer Mike Slack. The project debuted at Naked in West Hollywood, and is slated to travel in 2009.

Hubby has been featured in Anthem, Index and Paper magazines. Hubby’s portrait exhibition/fashion project in Chinatown (2004) earned glowing reviews in the Los Angeles Times and was simultaneously chosen as LA Weekly’s “Pick of the Week.” She has also appeared in The New Yorker, and LA Magazine, amongst others.

All of Hubby's work is one-of-a-kind. Each piece is made from a garment that already exists. She works primarily on a project-to-project basis and enjoys the challenge of presenting work in new ways. Hubby’s practice revolves around recycling loved garments from her client's wardrobes and reinventing pristine vintage for her collections.
