Kopeikin Gallery is proud to present The Vision Board, a group exhibition of mixed media artworks curated by Elizabeth Valdez. In this very unique mixed media group exhibition, curator Elizabeth Valdez challenged the wide array of multi-disciplinary and critically acclaimed artists, to create personal “Vision Boards.”

Says Curator Valdez: “The impetus for this show comes out of a desire to understand what artists are envisioning in regard to the future, at this very unique moment in history. I consider visualization to be a powerful tool, and perhaps, a first step in heading towards change” continues Valdez. Some questions this subject brings up are, what, at this moment, are we interested in changing? Are we still hopeful, or are our visions of the future “apocalyptic” in some ways? The beauty of this concept is that it can be so multifaceted, therefor appealing to many artists with diverse backgrounds and styles.

Artists participating are: Rebecca Bird, Nancy Buchanan, Alejandro Cartagena, Jamison Carter, Carolyn Castaño,  JooYoung Choi, Kevin Cooley, Joseph Cultice, Jen DeNike, Fabian Debora, Michael Dee, Margaret Griffith, Chris Finley, Carla Jay Harris, Pearl C Hsiung, Bettina Hubby, Salomon Huerta, Elizabeth Huey, Nina Katchadourian, Kiel Johnson, Kysa Johnson, Laura Krifka, Mark Licari, Jordie Oetken, Amy Park, William Powhida, Monique Prieto, Osceola Refetoff, Fawn Rogers, Gretchen Rollins, Erika Rothenberg, Katie Shapiro, Guy Richards Smit, Rodrigo Valenzuela, Elizabeth Valdez, Marnie Weber, Sarah Ann Weber, Christopher Williams and Melanie Wilhide.
