inWORD
inWORD’s intention is to offer GOODS and experiences with messaging that loves you up: A stylin’ self-advertising campaign!
Self-talk is a significant tool in the life creation toolkit. Every word carries an energetic imprint, whether spoken, written, thought about, or read, and has the power to affect us in beneficial or harmful ways. Words are often used unconsciously without consideration of their consequence. Becoming aware of self-critique, rumination, and the words you choose, can be an empowering opportunity for shift.
Hubby’s text paintings became the launching pad for a limited edition one-0f-a-kind t-shirt The words appear backwards to others when you wear the shirt, but in the mirror, one reads them clearly - the message is for you and your subconscious.
Hubby's ongoing text-based project InWord features paintings, limited edition t- shirts, prints, and workshops, launching in 2019 as Positively Earnest, Hubby’s solo exhibition at Klowden Mann in Los Angeles in 2019, focusing on the reality shaping power of language.
The InWord T-shirt was screen printed in Los Angeles by DTLA Print. The InWord screen print is a limited edition poster (22, with 3 APs), featuring neon ink on heavy black rag paper, printed by Press Friends Machine.
